Yuva Rajyam chief Pavan Kalyan will be on a three day tour in Khammam

Yuva Rajyam chief Pavan Kalyan will be on a three-day tour in Khammam district from February 19. He will campaign for the Praja Rajyam Prty mainly in the tribal pockets of Bhadrachalam and Palvancha divisions facing the risk of submergence because of the Polavaram (Indra Sagar) project coming up on Godavari river. Some of the coal belt areas such Manuguru and Sathupalli are also in his tour programme. He will reach Errampet village in Bhadrachalam division by helicopter on February 19. He intends to meet the tribal families who were expected to receive eviction notices because displacement caused by the Polavaram project in some 70 villages in the area. To begin with, he will address meetings at different villages in Chintoor, Vararamachandrapuram and Kunavaram mandals in the day. He will address a public meeting at Bhadrachalam. He will stay overnight at the temple town where he will address the PRP district committee on February 20 before leaving for Aswapuram. Roadshow The PRP had planned a roadshow at both Aswapuram and Mauguru towns. He will interact with the mining workers in the opencast mines at Manuguru. The PRP is planning to mobilize the party men and supporters in a big way for a public meeting scheduled at Palvancha on February 20. He will make a night halt at Palvancha. He will campaign in Burgumpadu, Satrhupally, Wyra and Khammam areas on February 21, according to party sources.
