WARANGAL: Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) will contest from all constituencies in the State in the coming elections, said its official spokesperson Mitra.

Speaking to mediapersons here today after meeting managements of private colleges in Telangana, he said that the PRP had people’s support and exuded confidence that they would get a massive mandate in the ensuing elections.

Stating that they did not have any talks with other political parties about alliances, he, however, added that they were ready to work together with like-minded parties. Depending upon the circumstances, the PRP would have tie ups with other parties, he said.

Refusing to comment on the Grand Alliance of the TDP, Left combine and the TRS, he said that it was for the people to decide whether they were ready for a coalition government.

Reiterating that they had a clear stand on the Telangana issue, Mitra said that PRP president Chiranjeevi had spelled out the party stand at the time of floating the party. He said that they would take all steps to do justice to the Telangana region.

He said that while selecting party nominees for the elections priority would be given to those groups which have no representation and added that women would also be given priority.

Noting that there would not be any changes in the party district committee, he said that there was no proposal to change party district unit president Jannu Zakaria.

He said that it was but natural to have differences in a newly floated party and added that all steps would be taken to iron out the differences.
