Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi on Monday said his Praja Rajyam Party would not enter into an electoral alliance with the Bhartiya Janata Party.

Nizamabad, AP : Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi on Monday said his Praja Rajyam Party would not enter into an electoral alliance with the Bhartiya Janata Party.

An indication to this effect was given by Chiranjeevi when he asserted that his party is not inclined to have an alliance with the saffron party.

Observing that the people of Andhra Pradesh would not give a fractured verdict in the coming Assembly elections, he expressed confidence that his party would be the preferred choice of the electorate.

Meanwhile, continuing his road show in Nizamabad district for the second day, Chiranjeevi slammed the ruling Congress over its alleged corruption.

"They (the Congress Government) are focused on the crores of rupees they get as commissions more than on the welfare of people," he alleged talking to reporters here.

Praja Rajyam is the true alternative to the ruling Congress and TDP in the State as both parties have failed to rise to the expectations of the people, he said
