Plot:The movie is about Arundhati (Anushka) and how she escapes from the spells and rites of a black magician, who tries to seduce her in order to take revenge on her.

Overall Synopsis :

The movie is based on the story of Arundhati (Anushka). She is the only daughter born in Gadwala royal linage after two generations. Hence, her family members treat her with a high esteem and call her Jejamma (Anushka), who was once the queen of Gadwal province. All of a sudden, the spirit of Jejemma enters the body of Arundhati.

In 1920’s, Jejamma was a queen of Gadwala province. She was a daring lady, who saves the province by killing a rogue named Pasupathi (Sonu Sood). But, the spirit of Pasupathi does not leave the place and wishes to take revenge on Arundhati by seducing her and subsequently, he learns black magic only to seduce her. Watch the movie to know how Arundhati will escape from the spells and rites of a black magician.

Performances :

Anushka has played a performance oriented role for the first time in her career. Anushka performed well and she reminds us Jayaprada in some stills. Her expressions have been portrayed very well. She plays a dual role as both Arundhati and Jejamma. Sonu Sood and Sayaji Shinde performed well. Veteran artistes like Manorama and Satyanarayana acted in this movie. Other artistes acted within the purview of their roles.

Technical Values :

Story and screenplay are good. Kodi Rama Krishna did a wonderful job and proved that he is still energetic as a director with this movie. Rahul Nambiar’s graphical work is excellent. Koti scored good music and rerecording work is vibrant. Settings by art director Ashok are brilliant. Editing is crisp. Production values of this film are rich. Graphics are mind blowing. However, there are a couple of violent scenes that are disturbing to the family crowds. However, some scenes are over violent and hence, the movie received an ‘A’ certificate from censor board.

Overall: The film may remain in the history of Telugu film industry and the movie will definitely become a big hit. Telugus can boast of this movie with non-Telugus.

Rating: 4.5/5
