Yuvarajyam Chief Pawan Kalyan remarks draw flak

Muslim leaders belonging to the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) will launch signature campaign among the community to protest the language used by Yuva Rajyam president Pawan Kalyan against them. They plan to rope in Muslim elders and collect signatures amid growing resentment against Pawan Kalyan for his ‘uncalled for remarks’ against the community and trying to give the terrorist tag to them. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, APCC general secretary Abid Rasool Khan, and secretaries -- Zafar Javed and Jabir Patel -- said they would collect the signatures and give a petition to Pawan Kalyan to retract his words. “We will launch a non-violent agitation till he withdraws the remarks,” Mr. Khan said.
